ALONE BEHIND THE FIRE

Alan Winston
Solo adaptation of “Old Wife Behind the Fire”;
would work great with a partner, too.
Choose a side at the top left or right of your square set.
A1: set right and left, cast down
track of a back-to-back across the set
A2: as above, casting up
B1: (skipping step optional but fun)
cross, go below, half figure eight up
(end facing up imagining you’re in the middle of a line of four]
B2: Up a double and back
face across, walk two changes of rights and left
finishing in top position but on the other side of the set)
