Parking & Entrance Update: Construction of New Building means we have a new entrance to the gym and changes to the parking. Parking entrance options include original entrance on River St and new entrance on ONeal St. Access to the gym is now on Rhett St. If you park near River St. you can walk along River St. around the church building, turn right onto Rhett St. and turn right before you reach the fence onto a path that leads toward the church building then turn left to reach the entrance to the gym. If you park near ONeal St.,walk up ONeal St. to Rhett Street and turn left. When you pass the construction fence turn left onto the narrow path, then left again to reach the door to the gym. We’ll be dancing in that corner of the gym which is diagonally opposite to the entrance we used to use before construction began. Let me know if you have questions.
July 4, we had a lovely time celebrating America 250 with dancing at St. George the Martyr Anglican Church. May 16, 2026 We had a wonderful time with over a thousand people celebrating America250 Colonial Picnic at the Historic Hopkins Farm, Simpsonville SC. Congratulations to the Nathanael Greene Chapter of the DAR for doing a marvelous job designing, developing, organizing and making the event an absolute delight. Our dancers who volunteered to help us introduce the participants to English Country Dance did a terrific job, and it was a pleasure to work alongside Emily Hervey doing the teaching and calling.
